DO'S

  • Always look for end-of-life equipment handling information in the product catalogue.
  • Ensure that all your electronic products are safely disposed off by an authorized recycler.
  • Find out your nearest E-waste authorized collection center.
  • Disconnect batteries from the product and protect any glass surfaces from breakage.
  • Segregate for safety: batteries, bulbs/lights, wires, and all other E-waste, keep each item in a separate bag during collection.

DON'TS

  • Do not throw away waste electronics in regular bins.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble your electronic products on your own.
  • Never give hazardous E-waste to the informal or unorganized sector, such as kabadiwala, local scrap dealer, rag picker.
  • Do not store unused, broken electrical and electronic items in your homes/offices.
